BMW OBD2 Diagnostic Interface Cable This cable will work with BMW cars using K-Line protocols built before March 2007. Our cable uses the latest FTDI chipset with the FT232BL controller IC, which has a true ignition sense detection circuit built within the cable lead allowing auto detection of ignition on/off cycles necessary for some coding/programming functions Our data cable eliminates the need to use a serial converter and is an all in one solution that requires no more hardware to use other than the cable and computer, no need for diagnostic heads of any kind. Our cables are fully tested before we send them out and come complete with all the necessary drivers for installations so you have peace of mind knowing all you need comes complete with the cable. Our cable is not a generic type code reader it has been specificaly adapted by us to work with BMW vehicles and PC?s incorporating a USB port so there is no need for serial port adapters for use on newer PC?s.
