Quarter litre enthusiasts saw Carlos Cardus (Honda), John Kocinski (Yamaha), Martin Wimmer (Aprilia), Reinhold Roth (Honda), Luca Cadalora (Yamaha) and Helmut Bradl (Honda) competing in another stunning race which was sadly marred when Reinhold Roth was seriously injured in a major pile up.
