His achievements include two World Motocross Championships, two British Trials Championships, multiple British Experts Trial wins, four individual race wins in the Motocross des Nations and three ISDE Gold Medals. He became a household name and a favourite in the Sixties when motocross was a regular live feature on BBC Grandstand. When Britain pre-empted the world in the sport, Jeff was a leading light.
