John McGuinness Special Offer Essential for any john McGuinness fan, a limited edition art print signed by the multiple TT winner and the spectacular Stephen Davison book John McGuinness - TT Legend. The book is an intimate portrait of John McGuinness, published with his collaboration and illustrated with over 100 full colour photographs by Stephen Davison. It is the first book about the iconic road racer and features results and photographs from 2012. McGuinness is the most famous road racer in the world. He is one of the most successful TT riders of all time, second only to the legendary Joey Dunlop, and in 2007 he became the first man to break the 130mph-barrier on the course. He has also set lap records at the NW200, the Ulster GP and Scarborough. But what makes the Morecambe Missile tick? How does he feel when he?s lining up on the grid? And when he?s on the podium at the TT yet again? John McGuinness: TT Legend answers all these questions and more. The product of a close collaboration between John and acclaimed photographer Stephen Davison, this book is a portrait of the icon in his own words, illustrated by stunning images that span his career, and packed with stats and facts ? an unmissable book for all road racing fans. Stephen Davison has been a road racing fan since he attended his first race in 1974. He is the author of a string of bestselling books, including Joey Dunlop: King of the Roads, Beautiful Danger, Hard Roads and Between the Hedges. Davison has been the recipient of a number of photographic awards, including Northern Ireland Sports Photographer of the Year and Northern Ireland Press Photographer of the Year. He is joint owner of the prestigious photographic agency Pacemaker Press. The print is from Peter Hearsey?s collectable TT Legends series. This exceptional artwork was unveiled during the 2009 TT, when the Morecambe missile notched up his 15th?win ? top become the second most successful rider ever around the Mountain circuit ? and set a new outright lap record with a staggering average speed of 131.378mph for the 37?-mile course.? This painting captures McGuinness on board the HM Plant Honda Superbike which carried him to his 13th?TT victory during the Centenary TT Celebrations in 2007. This was also the machine on which McGuinness became the first man ever to lap the TT course at more than 130mph, with an average speed of 130.354mph. The prints, measuring?594mm x 420mm,?are strictly limited to 850, and just 250 are personally signed by John McGuinness himself.
