Milestones 2014 Calendar After the phenomenal success of the 2013 edition, artist Rachael Clegg is back with a new take on some of the TT's most iconic locations. Rachael came up with the novel idea of teasing?quirky stories out of the TT's past and then illustrating the topics at various points on the 37-mile TT Course by posing naked in some beautifully photographed scenarios. Guy Martin's x?rays, John McGuinness? leathers, several tubs of Swarfega, umpteen gallons of diesel, an Aljazeera journalist and an assistant with a bladder problem. These were the ingredients of Milestones TT calendar, created by artist and needs-must model Rachael Clegg, photographer Peter Greste and invaluable assistant Shaz Nicol. Clegg - daughter and granddaughter of TT racers Noel and Tom Clegg - wanted to produce a TT calendar series that paid visual homage to the TT?s 106-year history, but with an interesting visual spin on the tales and all without taking it too seriously. She researched dozens of quirky TT stories, which in turn inspired the shots and then raced around the course, not on a motorbike, but in the buff at various locations on the circuit - and all at 4am in the morning! Since its debut last year, Milestones has become something of a cult calendar. Milestones 2013 sold out in no-time and 2014?s not far off.
